Think On Your Sins BCC Art 2014

This is one of my favorite artworks that I made in my art class in Berkeley City College. We were contour drawing parts of a skeleton and I drew the skull. Our assignment was to color in the skeletal parts and add cutouts from magazines or printout pictures from the internet. I didn't have the heart to desecrate a magazine, so I chose to print out things from Google images. I originally wanted to go with the designs from Raoul Silva's skull from the 007 film Skyfall, but then I decided to add details of my own. After all, betrayal is a recurring motif in the movie which is the focus of my drawing here. And believe it or not I'm no stranger to betraying others and being betrayed myself, am I now?
Think On Your Sins is actually an anagram. It translates to 'Your Son Isn't In HK' meaning Hong Kong, which is where Silva was stationed until M sold him out as punishment for hacking the Chinese.
